The Syrian Turkmen Council, in collaboration with the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Syrian Interim Government's Youth and Sports Committee, organized a run in Çobanbey as part of the celebrations for National Sovereignty and Children's Day on April 23.

This event marked the first of its kind in the liberated areas where peace and security have been restored following anti-terror operations. Over 250 students participated in the run.
